This piece of travel photography was taken at the Tian Tan Buddha statue in Ngong Ping, Lantau Island, Hong Kong. That day is was particularly misty with some very low lying cloud which allowed me to get a completely different shot of the statues surrounding the Tian Tan Big Buddha.
Most people are desperate to get a picture of the big Buddha itself so I enjoyed trying to capture some of the smaller statues that surround it offering gifts.
This photo coincides with this weeks #frifotos theme which is China due to it being Chinese New year this week. Enjoy….
